Governor Mead speaks as part of “Celebration of Hope”
CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Cancer survivors, families and friends gathered at the State Capitol today as part of the Wyoming Comprehensive Cancer Control Consortium’s “Celebration of Hope.” Governor Matt Mead said he was pleased to be part of the sixth annual event. This year the focus was on breast cancer.
Governor Mead noted breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in Wyoming women and urged women to get screened.
“We will never lose hope as long as we never lessen our fight or awareness. Thanks to all of you we never will,” Governor Mead told the crowd.
