Governor Mead Greets Returning Firefighters
CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Today, 13 members of the Wyoming Air National Guard firefighters returned home after spending over four months away from their families. The firefighters were in Iraq where they trained Iraqi firefighters.
“All the people of Wyoming and our nation thank these 13 men for their service and thank their families for the sacrifice they have made,” Governor Matt Mead said. “The Iraqi firefighters have received the best training in the world and I am extremely proud of our National Guard.”
