Governor Congratulates National Champion FFA Ag Issues Team


CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Matt Mead met the Cheyenne East High School’s FFA Ag Issues Team today. The team recently won first place at the National Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Governor Mead congratulated the seven students: Sam Schulz, Dylan Freeman, Alex Frauendienst, Sarah Falen, Kadi Davis, Lois Brennecke and Holly Brennecke as well as their FFA Adviser, Joe Allen. Participants in the Agriculture Issues Forum research the pros and cons of an agriculture issue and present their theories to a panel of judges. Cheyenne East’s team presented on the topic of the Endangered Species Act.
