Governor Mead Submits his Nominees for State Boards and Commissions

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Matt Mead has sent the Wyoming Senate his list of nominees for various boards and commissions. The list includes many boards and commissions and Governor Mead thanks those who have volunteered to serve.

“Boards and commissions oversee essential programs and serve our citizens in meaningful ways,” Governor Mead says.  “I have been impressed by the commitment of time and talent given by the people serving on our boards and commissions. I have asked these dedicated men and women to make sure we provide excellent service to our citizens and do so as efficiently as possible.”

Governor Mead also has asked the Senate to consider his names for Agency Director Appointees. This includes Jeffrey Vogel, Department of Audit, Joan Evans, Department of Workforce Services, Thomas Hirsig, Department of Insurance and Thomas Drean, Office of Geological Survey.

The Senate has five days to approve or reject those appointments.
