Governor Matt Mead and First Lady Carol Mead celebrated Thanksgiving with over 160 Wyoming National Guard soldiers serving as part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Bahrain.

Governor and First Lady Spend Thanksgiving with Wyoming National Guard Soldiers

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Matt Mead and First Lady Carol Mead celebrated Thanksgiving with over 160 Wyoming National Guard soldiers serving as part of Operation Enduring Freedom in Bahrain. The soldiers are from the 133rd Engineering Company, based in Laramie. Also joining them on the trip were U.S. Senator John Barrasso and Major General Luke Reiner.
The soldiers deployed on April 12th. They are conducting base security operations in Bahrain. Governor Mead went to see the soldiers off from their pre-deployment training in Mississippi as well.
