Governor Mead’s Statement on University of Wyoming’s Next President

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  Governor Matt Mead issued the following statement following Dr. Robert Sternberg accepted an offer from the University of Wyoming Board of Trustees to be the 24th President of the University of Wyoming.

“I welcome Bob and his family to Wyoming. The University of Wyoming is a superb institution and our state has charted a course for UW to become one of the finest land grant universities in the nation. I look forward to meeting Dr. Sternberg and working with him to assure that UW continues to be a great resource to all students, and a contributor to the Wyoming economy. I want to thank the Board of Trustees for its work and diligence in selecting Dr. Sternberg."
