Governor’s Business Forum Focuses on Expanding Economy and Civility

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –  For the second time Governor Matt Mead hosted a business forum to highlight successful Wyoming businesses and bring together leaders to discuss job creation and expanding the economy.
South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard participated in this year’s Forum. Governor Daugaard will address the forum during the afternoon of the two-day forum’s first day.  He will speak about essential economic development strategies. Governor Daugaard is South Dakota’s 32nd Governor.

One feature of the forum was historian and Pulitzer Prize winner David McCullough. Governor Mead teamed with the Wyoming Business Alliance/Wyoming Heritage Foundation to host this year’s forum. In addition to Mr. McCullough confirmed speakers include Herb Meyer who served as Vice Chairman of the CIA’s National Intelligence Council; Kevin Parker, Columbine survivor and Washington State Representative; Colin Marshall, President and CEO of Cloud Peak Energy, which is one of the largest U.S. coal producers; Dave McSpadden, an author and national hospitality and real estate entrepreneur; and numerous Wyoming business leaders who will present their success stories.
