CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Governor Mead has directed the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS), the Wyoming Department of Insurance, the Wyoming Community College Commission and the Wyoming Business Council to open temporary community resource centers in Casper, Gillette and Douglas for those affected by energy related layoffs.
The temporary resource centers will provide help and information on unemployment insurance, job opportunities, job training, health insurance and counseling services.
The centers will be staffed with experts able to assist individuals from on Friday, April 1, , and , and possibly longer depending on demand:
